CINÉ LIVE: Você retrata Harry Potter pela quinta vez. O que é novo para você na Ordem de Fênix?

Daniel Radcliffe: O foco do filme esta em menos ação e mais em o que acontece na cabeça de Harry… O estado da mente dele, o estado mental dele. Ele se mantém na extremidade da navalha… Ele alcançou uma certa estabilidade, mas ele sente como só uma coisa acontece e ele cai em paranóia ou em raiva. Ele é muito frágil neste filme.

CINÉ LIVE:Devido a este estado de mente, você consegue o deixar na porta do estúdio depois de um dia de trabalho ou ele às vezes o assombra?

Daniel Radcliffe: Eu me desligo facilmente dele. Assim que eu chego em casa, eu não penso nele, até mesmo se eu penso na cena do próximo dia. Eu penso nele quando eu o interpreto… Na realidade agora, eu penso nele antes de interpretar e então eu tenho que interpretar sem pensar [risos]

CINÉ LIVE:Perguntam freqüentemente a você o que você gosta em Harry Potter. Mas o que você não gosta?

Daniel Radcliffe: É permanente uma parte, mas eu levo dele o que eu levo de um modelo, como a vontade dele de fazer o que é justo. Também gosto da independência dele. Quando ele tem um problema, ele não leva os outros. Esta é uma qualidade ilustre para enfrentar nossos problemas, ser capaz de analisá-los e sair deles por nós mesmos. Mostra a força de caráter.

CINÉ LIVE:O que ele precisa devido a tudo que esta acontecendo com ele… Porque isto está ficando cada vez pior.

Daniel Radcliffe: O quinto filme é o mais misterioso de todos. Bem, até o momento. Mas eu não sei se será visto assim porque nem todas as cenas é ação como nos filmes anteriores. Mas é o mais misterioso por causa de Harry. Ele tem idéias realmente misterioso… [ele pensa] Sim, ele é muito frágil, constantemente na extremidade da navalha e assustado porque ele não sabe o que vai acontecer a ele.

CINÉ LIVE:Você não pensa que J.K.Rowling está indo longe? Que o equilíbrio entre bem e mal está quebrado e que nada poder restabelecer?

Daniel Radcliffe: Isto é o que faz a saga interessante! [risos] Onde existem pessoas Boas, mas nós também temos que pensar que há as pessoas ruins que são mortas ou que algumas pessoas tentam matar. Às vezes os Comedores de Morte ganham às vezes a Ordem de Fênix ganha. Mas eu penso que o sétimo romance colocará em ordem porque os adolescentes do Exército do Dumbledore se tornaram os adultos. Eles estão conscientes que a guerra está aqui e eles querem lutar. [risos] na realidade, eu não sei! Eu não sei o que vai acontecer no sétimo livro. Eu só suponho.

CINÉ LIVE:Harry Potter é pura ficção, se trata de magia. Não deveria estar mais claro, menos misterioso?

Daniel Radcliffe: Certamente não! Porque assim, estes livros teriam qualquer coisa mais sem realidade. Um autor não pensa como os pais das crianças. Quando nós entrarmos na adolescência, nós descobrimos que aqueles infortúnios não só exista em livros ou TELEVISÃO, mas também na realidade. Nós aprendemos isso na adolescência e isso é o que acontece a Harry Potter. Do menino novo ao jovem, inconsciente e sossegado, ele se torna um adulto para quem a vida constantemente é ameaçada em um mundo onde reina o mau.

CINÉ LIVE:É verdade que o sexto livro é muito diferente do primeiro livro…

Daniel Radcliffe: É, e esta evolução é muito brilhante. J.K.Rowling conseguiu mudar o tom dos livros completamente, mantendo o interesse dos primeiros leitores. Isto é excelente. Eu sou realmente muito curioso para saber como a saga terminará, porque quando você escrever seis livros prósperos e que você decidiu que o sétimo será o último, você realmente sabe que você tem de criar um fim realmente bom. Mas eu estou seguro ela não vai desapontar nenhum de nós.

CINÉ LIVE:Ela revelou que seria possível o Harry não sobreviver…

Daniel Radcliffe: Seria completamente compreensível se ele morresse. Este é o único modo para ela terminar a saga. Se não, todo mundo lhe pedirá que escreva um outro. E matando, não haverá toda esperança por a volta dele [risos]. E eu penso, como todos os outros atores, em mim, eu espero uma grande cena onde eu morro. He comes back for the fifth time for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phenix, with as passion as ever and a lot more talent. Magic.

Ciné Live : You portray Harry Potter for the fifth time. What is new for him in the Order of the Phenix?
Daniel Radcliffe : The film focus less on action and more on what happens in Harry’s head… His state of mind, his mental state. He lives on the razor’s edge… He reached a certain stability, but one feels like only one thing happens and he topples into paranoia or into anger. He’s very fragile in this film.

In view of this state of mind, do you manage to leave him at the door of the studio after one day’s work, or does he haunt you sometimes?
I easily turn away from him. As soon as I’m at home, I don’t think to him, even if I think to the scene of the day after. I think to him when I portray him… In fact now, I think to him before portraying him and then I try to portray him without thinking [laughs]

Is is often asked to you what you like in Harry Potter. But what don’t you like?
I don’t think Harry is a model to be followed. He oftens is guilty of his arrogance. And he doesn’t estimate often at its true value the tolerance that Ron and Hermione have for him. When he withdraws on himself… He has perfectly the right to, the problem is not there, it is normal sometimes not to want to speak with anyone… but Ron and Hermione never let him down in these moments. I don’t think is conscious of this. These are his two biggest defects.

Is there a few of yourself in this character after five films, or does it just stays a part?
Is stays a part, but I take from him what I’d took from a model, like his will to do what is fair. I also like his independance. When he has a problem, he doesn’t take the others along in it. This is an honourable quality to face our problems, to ba able to analyse them and to go out of them by ourselves. It shows the strength of character.

What he needs in view of everything happening to him… Because this is getting worse and worse.
And the fifth film is the darkest of all. Well, for the moment. But I don’t know if it will be seen like that because there isn’t any action scenes as terrifying as in the previous films. But it’s the darkest because of Harry. He has really dark ideas… [he thinks] Yes, he’s very fragile, constantly on the razor’s edge and scared because he doesn’t know what is going to happen to him.

Don’t you think J.K.Rowling goes to far? That the balance between good and evil is broken and that nothing could be able to restore?
This is what makes all the interest of the saga! [laughs] Good people die, but we have also to think that there are bad people who are killed or that some people try to kill. Sometimes the Death Eaters win, sometimes the Order of the Phenix wins. But I think that the seventh novel will reset the meter to zero because the teenagers of the Dumbledore’s Army became adults. They are conscious that the war is here and they want to fight. [laughs] In fact, I don’t know! I don’t know what is going to happen in the seventh book. I only suppose.

Harry Potter is pure fiction, it deals with magic. Shouldn’t it be lighter, less dark?
Certainly not! Because so, these books would have anything unique anymore. For one, a author isn’t paternalistic with the children. When we enters into adolescence, we find out that misfortune doesn’t only exist in books or TV, but also in the reality.We learn that in the adolescence, and that’s what happen to Harry Potter. From the young 11-years-old boy, unconscious and quiet, he becomes an adult for who the life is constantly threatened in a world were evil reign.

It’s true that the sixth book is very different from the first book…
And this evolution is purely brilliant. J.K.Rowling managed to change completely the tone of the books, in maintaining the first readers interest. This is outstanding. I’m really curious to see how she will end the saga, because when you wrote six successful books and that you decided that the seventh one will be the last, you know you really must create a really good end. But I’m sure she won’t desappoint us.

She revealed that it would be possible for Harry not to survive…
It would be completely legitimate that he dies. This is the only way for her to end her saga. If not, everyone will ask her to write another one. By killing him, there isn’t any hope for him to come back [laughs]. And I think, like all the other actors, in myself, I aspire to a great scene where I die. But also, if Harry survives, I would be also happy [smiles].
